A Quantum Adventure

A cute, half-dead cat has vanished! Her trail leads to a mysterious box with four intriguing rooms that arrived at Dresden’s science museum in April 2024. A famous thought experiment in quantum physics has been transformed into a real-world adventure for youngsters and everyone else who enjoys fun yet challenging puzzles. No need to be a genius in math or physics! Explore the quirky quantum world and find out whether Kitty Q is dead or alive.

 

Our quantum apartment can be explored in a variety of ways, such as with your school class, as a birthday treat, or with family and friends.Have we sparked your curiosity?

The Escape Room is a joint project by the Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat of Würzburg and Dresden universities, app designer Philipp Stollenmayer, and Technische Sammlungen Dresden, the city’s science museum.
